CEU Statement

Continuing education credit for CPTWeb is awarded on a module-by-module basis; however, all modules (ie, the entire course) must be completed in order to receive credit. Nine units of Continuing Education credit is approved for the successful completion of this on-line training course. A Certificate of Completion is available for printing when you submit the final evaluation. The following are the Organizations, States and disciplines currently approving CPTWeb for continuing education credit.

The Medical University of South Carolina is an approved provider of continuing education for mental health professionals in the State of South Carolina. This online training course, CPTWeb, has been approved for 9 contact hours of continuing education credit.

CPTWeb is approved as a continuing education course by the South Carolina Board of Examiners in Psychology and the South Carolina Board of Social Work Examiners. It is also approved by the South Carolina Board of Examiners for Licensed Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Psycho-Educational Specialists.

The National Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center, Medical University of South Carolina is an NBCC-Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirement. The ACEP is solely responsible for all aspects of the Program. CPTWeb is an approved continuing education course (NBCC Approval 6512).

The State of California Board of Behavioral Sciences, Approval number PCE 4226, has approved CPTWeb for continuing education contact hours. Valid until March 31, 2014.

The State of Oklahoma Board of Examiners of Psychologists approved CPTWeb for continuing professional education credits for psychologists.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health Protective Health Services Professional Counselor Licensing Board approved CPTWeb for continuing professional education credits for professional counselors and marriage and family therapists.

The Oklahoma Board of Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselors has approved CPTWeb for continuing professional education credits for licensed alcohol and drug counselors.

This program is Approved by the National Association of Social Workers (Approval # 886453433-0) for 10 Clinical Social Work continuing education contact hours. (6/1/2016-6/30/2017).

Please Note: Learners should NOT use the CPTWeb continuing education Certificate of Completion to suggest that they are "certified" to deliver CPT or as evidence that they are competent in the use of CPT. The CPTWeb Certificate of Completion only means that the learner has completed this online training course.
